Today’s quote:
“Wise sayings often fall on barren ground, but a kind word is never thrown away.” – Arthur Helps
Never miss a chance to say or do something kind for someone.

Kindness takes trillions of different shapes. You could say there are countless kinds of kindnesses. Anyone and everyone can create their own version and send it off to someone else.
The lyre bird. The ninth wonder of the world. But who’s counting.
It can mimic any sound. There’s a video on YouTube with proof. Search something about a lyre bird and you’ll hear it copy the shutter of a camera capturing its cuteness. You’ll hear it imitate the sound of the loggers’ chainsaws in the distance. Incredible.
Maybe there’s something to learn from this Liar. Learn to listen and learn to lie. Is lying always wrong?
To answer this question, we must first consider what it means to lie. In this consideration, we can question whether imitation is dishonest. What’s the wrong in copying what’s right? Is a lack of originality a lack of honesty? To lie is to recline.
Lie down and lie with yourself, not to yourself. Listen to the noises that you hear. Learn to listen to yourself. Learn to listen to the lies lying beneath the surface of the reflections of the imitations of yourself. Look through the limbs, and lying there may be lurking the lyre bird.
