New Year

Amuse-bouche: Whole piece.

An oxymoron.

Today’s Wonderful Word: “panacea.”

Definition: an answer or solution for all problems or difficulties.

Etymology: “Panacea” comes from a Greek word meaning “all-healing.

Example: The new software claims to be a panacea for productivity issues, but its effectiveness remains to be seen.

Happy New Year

I didn’t get a haircut in 2024.

I don’t want to talk about progress on writing a novel.

New Year, New Yew. Yew nou. You knew.

Do something new this year, even though nothing is new at all. Everything is a refabrication of the same old things. Find a new combination of things. That’s all we can do new.

All problems have at least a solution that may cause little to no other problems. Don’t search for a panacea because such a thing doesn’t exist. Take all the pieces at your disposal and try to make peace with them. Take a piece of the whole and become wholly peaceful with it. Search for holes in the whole piece and fill them with peace.

We’ve all got only what we’ve got and gotten and will get. We gotta work with what we’re working with.

That’s all I’ve got. Have a great year.
