Amuse-bouche: I get so stressed when my desk is cluttered. I’m grateful for modern science and all the ways to relieve stress, like with fidget spinners and stress balls, for example. However, I will say that I’m starting to get overwhelmed with all the stress balls and fidget spinners covering my desk.
Today’s Wonderful Word: “bibliomaniac.”
Definition: one who possesses an extraordinary passion for books.

What’s the first thing you do after you see a book that you’re interested in? Read the last page, right?
WRONG!
The first thing to do is flip through the pages and enjoy the breeze. Breathe in the words. Smell the ink, paper, and glue. The scent of the pages doesn’t reflect the story contained between the front and back covers. Rather, the scent helps you create memories while you read. Your experience will be influenced by the paper’s history.
The second thing to do is listen. Listen to the rustling pages flipping past your thumb. Skim through again and feel the paper. Flick through the chapters and admire the smooth roughness of the papers’ edges.
