Amuse-bouche: Obvious is something easy to notice. Oblivious is one who doesn’t notice.
Today’s Wonderful Word: “gallinipper.”
Definition: insects that sting or bite, such as the Large American Mosquito.
Etymology: “Gallinipper” was first recorded in English around 1680. “Gallinipper” previously appeared as “gal-knipper” and “gurnipper.” The second half of “gallinipper” looks as it does because of the influence of “nipper,” a thing that bites.
A bathroom sign

When you have officiated…
Before leaving this asylum
You are urged…
To grasp with a nimble hand
The little quack grass broom,
That’s not here just for show
And to act vigorously
To expel the marmalade.
So that your successor
Find after you, a clean place
And be dispensed from the Honor…
Of rinsing the bowl for you.
In this detestable place,
As useful as the table,
Take care that this bowl
Be as clean
As your plate.
