Like water off a duck’s back. = Something that doesn’t have any apparent, lasting effects on something or someone. Most commonly used to describe a remark that doesn’t have an impact on the other person.
An albatross around the neck. = A heavy burden.
As scarce as hen’s teeth. = Hens don’t have teeth.
